“This society is the best I’ve seen at engaging non-law students! They have a specific non-law social media and a very thorough non-law guide with all the information you need on converting to law and understanding the industry. They’ve also hosted brilliant non-law events with other academic societies, which are very illuminating and helpful.”

“This year has seen the biggest push in increasing diversity for many years, with a myriad of schemes, including a first-of-its-kind bursary scheme for ethnic minorities. Alongside the regular diversity events, there is a diversity council with elected heads to advise the committee – which is a great structural way to increase diversity. As a student from a minority group, the support and information from the society has made me feel much more at home not only in the society, but in the city as a whole.”
