The UEA Law Society is one of the largest, popular and most prestigious societies at the university.

The UEA Law Society is one of the largest, popular and most prestigious societies at the university. We cater for all students, whether studying law or otherwise, providing an excellent social calendar year round offering social gatherings, as well as inexpensive trips abroad to cities such as Amsterdam, unavailable to most other students and societies they may be part of.

Our law society is a big family. We all strive to help each other improve and enjoy their time at university. The society has over 30 members on the committee, all devoted to helping people, which has developed a strong community feel.

University of Nottingham Law Society has a close relationship with over 40 leading law firms and education providers.

University of Nottingham Law Society has a close relationship with over 40 leading law firms and education providers. This means we can provide unparalleled career opportunities for our vast membership base, such as our famous ‘Dinner with the City’ event which had 22 firms in attendance in 2018, as well as countless firm presentations, application and commercial awareness workshops, and much more! On top of ensuring the employability of our membership, we do have plenty of fun in the process with the largest and cheapest socials on campus, including termly Balls, river cruises, pub quiz’s, pub crawls, and even a trip abroad!
