The society has an extremely good and well-thought-out welfare provision.
“The society has an extremely good and well-thought-out welfare provision. I often attend the welfare coffee mornings, which give you a chance to debrief with the welfare officer and talk about any concerns you may have. I often find this is a good time to vent and I never feel like a burden. I’d also say that it feels like all of the committee members want to chat with you and support you wherever they can.”

Our committee itself is at the heart of our success as a society. They’re advocates for members and create a support system in an environment that can often feel rather daunting. Beyond this, they also ensure that we run a range of creative and diverse events.

Our welfare is amazing. I know if I contact any of my representatives or welfare officers, I’ll get a response quickly and they’ll help me with any issues I have.
