“This society places student wellbeing at the heart of everything it does. We have access to regular welfare events, inclusive sober socials and weekly study sessions, which provide members with a safe space to decompress and creates a genuinely supportive community. Every effort is made to ensure members feel cared for, welcomed and never alone in their journey.”

“The society runs welfare drop-in sessions with a dedicated welfare officer every single week, which has fostered a really lovely community. There are also other welfare events, such as craft sessions and film nights, which are great for stress relief and show that the society really cares about its members.”

“The society has an extremely good and well-thought-out welfare provision. I often attend the welfare coffee mornings, which give you a chance to debrief with the welfare officer and talk about any concerns you may have. I often find this is a good time to vent and I never feel like a burden. I’d also say that it feels like all of the committee members want to chat with you and support you wherever they can.”

“Our welfare is amazing. I know if I contact any of my representatives or welfare officers, I’ll get a response quickly and they’ll help me with any issues I have. They’re also really inclusive and I think that’s important.”
