The society is very welcoming, and I believe this is down to the president. They are positive, organised, and committed to improving the society and helping develop members’ skills.

“This year our president has been exceptional. The organisation of the society is second to none and the communication to members has completely levelled up from previous years. The society is very welcoming, and I believe this is down to the president. They are positive, organised, and committed to improving the society and helping develop members’ skills.”

We will go above and beyond for our members, constantly listening to feedback to tailor events to our member’s needs, so that they truly get the most we can physically offer out of their membership with us.

“This person’s commitment toward the wellbeing of their members is evident from the brilliant events they and their team have continually organised this year. Even through the difficult adjustment of switching to virtual, they have made sure that every member has had an unrivalled opportunity by connecting us to future employers and all the information and advice we would need.”

For us, a great law society has worthwhile values, and goes above and beyond to achieve them. We have completely transformed the society this year, focusing on 3 values: Community, Accessibility and Success.

We live and breathe community, accessibility and success for - and on behalf of - our members. This is why we are a great law society.

The Law Society is one of the liveliest and most popular societies at LSE, with something always going on.

The Law Society is one of the liveliest and most popular societies at LSE, with something always going on. From tours of corporate law firms and career-advice seminars to parties at some of London’s hottest venues, our yearly Ball and lectures by the worlds’ top lawyers – be it our very own Cherie Booth QC or judges from the highest courts in Britain and the world.

Our incredible range of sponsored events do not make us the best; the LSESU Law Society is the best society because it is responsive to its members. Our level of responsiveness to members has been unprecedented this year, largely due to our active role in campaigning and working with the LSE Law Department.
