“There is constant communication with society members via email and social media, and committee members are only ever a message away. The society frequently uses polls to ask for our opinions and interests regarding career events and social activities. In addition, it works tirelessly to run exclusive career events for its members in order to give us an advantage when pursuing a legal career. There is never a shortage of events to take part in and they really do their best to support all aspiring solicitors.”

We aim to keep both law and non-law students involved socially and academically throughout their university career, with events such as the law ball and the annual trip, as well as mooting, Pro Bono work and social events with local firms.

Currently the largest society on campus, the University of Lincoln Law Society offers an insight for both members studying, or just interested in the world of law.

“The society is absolutely incredible in aiding non-law students. They’ve hosted a range of specific events that aim to engage non-law students and help them navigate the industry. They’ve also explained how to sell yourself as a non-law student and given us lots of tips on how we can transfer the skills gained from our non-law background.”
